We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Development Manager to join our team, bridging the gap between our visionary design team and top-tier manufacturing partners.

Role Overview:

As the Junior Product Development Manager at Poubel, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle, transforming creative ideas into beautifully crafted modular jewellery pieces. You will work closely with our design team to translate concepts into technical specifications, collaborate with factories to ensure precise execution, and manage production timelines. Your expertise in the jewellery industry, particularly with sterling silver and modular designs, will be essential in maintaining Poubel’s high standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to understand and refine creative concepts, ensuring they align with modular functionality.
• Translate design ideas into detailed technical specifications suitable for manufacturing.
• Act as the primary liaison between design and manufacturing partners, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and factories specializing in sterling silver and modular components.
• Oversee prototyping, sampling, and final production stages, ensuring designs are accurately realized and functional.
• Manage production timelines to ensure on-time delivery of new collections.
• Conduct rigorous quality control checks to maintain Poubel’s standards of craftsmanship and durability.
• Monitor jewellery industry trends, with a focus on modular and customizable designs, to keep Poubel at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in product development or production management within the jewelry industry.
• In-depth knowledge of sterling silver materials, modular jewelry design, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective collaboration with designers and suppliers.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with design software (e.g., CAD) is a plus but not required.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and a strong sense of quality control.
