A very exciting opportunity is available for a Junior Product Development Engineer, ideally suited for a Graduate Engineer with a strong degree in Civil, Structural, or Materials Engineering.

Our client is a well-established and innovative leader in manufacturing and engineering, offering a diverse range of products and systems for the construction, automotive, acoustic, and audio markets. Due to ongoing business expansion, they are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Product Development Engineer to join their dynamic team. The Role

As a Junior Product Development Engineer, you will play a vital role in driving the development of new products and improving existing ones. Your responsibilities will include technical investigations, concept design, material selection, performance analysis, and testing. You will collaborate with multiple disciplines and design teams within the business (SFS, Facade, Automotive) to bring innovative ideas to life and contribute to our client's success.

Key Responsibilities

The development works include:

1. Technical investigation of the market
2. Concept design, material selection, and prototyping
3. Performance analysis (strength, thermal, acoustics) using theoretical and numerical methods (FEM or related software)
4. Manufacturing route investigation (collaborating with the plant engineering manager)
5. Responsibility for internal performance testing
6. Assisting with third-party product tests and technical assessment for product certification

Additionally, you will:

1. Create or assist in maintaining the technical document platform, including:
2. Product manufacturing drawings
3. Product data sheets/engineering data sheets
4. Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to develop technical documentation, manuals, and installation guides

Work with the engineering team to develop product performance calculation tools for structural and thermal design, and provide technical support as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Materials, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in software tools such as MS Office, AutoCAD, and Thermal/FEM software (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable but not essential; fresh graduates with relevant degrees are encouraged to apply
