Job summary

Footasylum, a leading UK streetwear retailer, partners with Trapstar and seeks a Junior Product Developer to support end-to-end development of seasonal collections. You will work across North Manchester and London with the product creation team, designers, and product managers to deliver on departmental goals.

You should be proactive, organised, and commercially aware, thriving in a fast-paced environment while building strong internal relationships and contributing to overall business success.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ product development experience in a fast-moving brand/retail environment
• Experience working with UK and global suppliers
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Passion for streetwear and lifestyle products
• Collaborative team player with ability to respond quickly to changing demands

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end development process across brands to achieve best-in-class multi-category products
• Attend fittings and sealing meetings at Head Office and London office
• Assist in meeting deadlines and check submissions from factories (lab dips, fabrics, prints) within timeframes
• Help ensure high manufacturing standards for own-brand products; join fit meetings and provide feedback
• Communicate clear, precise comments to suppliers on technical issues and samples
• Build strong internal relationships with design, supply chain, sourcing, etc.
• Assist in bulk QC checks and approve master AQL sheets for factories
• Coordinate photo samples and SMS; track and log as needed
• Mentor junior team members to foster continuous improvement and collaboration
