Job summary

Footasylum is seeking a Junior Product Developer for its in-house Design Centre. The role supports the development of own-brand ranges across multiple lines and requires travel to the warehouse for QC checks.

Strong organisation, initiative and proactive attitude are essential to manage samples, submissions and testing processes. The candidate should have 1-2 years in highstreet fashion and be comfortable working office-based with occasional warehouse travel to ensure on-time ex-factory dates

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in the Highstreet Fashion Industry.
  • Office-based role with travel to the warehouse for QC checks.
  • Excellent organisation skills for samples, archiving and submission files.

Responsibilities

  • Work to a critical path to ensure development processes run smoothly and ex-factory dates are met.
  • Liaise with factories to chase lab dips, strike offs, samples and submissions with senior team members.
  • Assist and learn under product developer guidance and ensure products meet safety standards and testing requirements.
  • Visit the warehouse regularly to undertake QC checks.
  • Assist with measuring and sending comments on own-brand samples across men’s, women’s, juniors and accessories.
  • QC bulk production and feedback to factories, keep QC log up to date with relevant teams.
  • Create AQL inspection sheets and measurement sheets for 3rd party inspections and update master sheets.
  • Arrange photo samples and SMS when needed and log correctly.
  • Send parcels with trims/submissions/samples to factories for the team.
