Job summary

Our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of lighting and furnishing products, seeks a Graduate/Junior Design Engineer to join the Design & Technical team in a creative, collaborative environment.

You will develop new and existing products, produce CAD data, manufacturing drawings and technical documentation while gaining hands-on experience across prototyping, testing and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Product Design, Design Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of 3D CAD and technical drawing (SolidWorks preferred).
• Understanding of materials and design for manufacture.
• Strong problem-solving and commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and eagerness to develop your career.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD.
• Create BOMs, technical specifications and product documentation.
• Support prototyping, sample inspection, testing and 3D printing.
• Liaise with Production, Quality and Procurement to resolve queries.
• Contribute to design reviews and product development projects.
• Maintain CAD, PDM and technical documentation.
