Role Overview
Parameta Solutions is seeking a Junior Product Analytics Manager to join its Product Analytics function. The individual will possess a combination of quantitative analysis and development skills that will be used to assist the team with rapid product prototyping (proof of concept design). The individual will be a key member of the product management team and a central point for SME’s in Parameta’s Data Engineering, Development and PMO functions and be the first point of contact for anyone requiring insights from Parameta’s existing suite of data.
Role Responsibilities
Work alongside Parameta Product Managers in areas such as OTC financial market data (multi asset class), Benchmarks & Indices, Risk & Regulatory Solutions as well as Trading Analytics to develop prototypes of data-driven products and solutions.
Provide feedback to Product, Quant, and Engineering teams to help shape product strategy and execution roadmap.
Work with Parameta product and sales teams to uncover new opportunities for potential products.
Act as a data analyser and hunter to identify data sources (e.g. indicative market data as well as transactional data) from a multitude of internal and external systems. Work with TP ICAP group central functions (e.g. IT, Analytics or Operations) to gain access to data and services that can enhance Parameta Solutions new and existing products.
Be comfortable with communicating sophisticated statistical and technical concepts with various audiences.
Stay up-to-date with innovations and industry trends in data science and financial data
Experience / Competencies
STEM/Mathematics/Financial Engineering background - knowledge of derivatives pricing desirable.
Programming skills in Python and/or SQL and willingness to further develop skills.
Basic knowledge of OTC derivative and cash (with a particular focus on Interest rate, FX and Energy derivatives as well as FI/Credit) products including pricing, conventions, trading, risk management and typical market data use cases.
Understanding and basic implementation of data engineering and cleansing practices.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, experience writing technical requirements desirable.
Write presentations and articulate concepts and ideas to non-technical colleagues and counterparts.
