Job Description:

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Post-Quantum Cryptography Engineer to join their team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cryptographic security, particularly in post-quantum solutions. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of cryptographic principles and a strong willingness to learn and contribute to the development of quantum-resistant security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in researching and implementing post-quantum cryptographic solutions in line with NIST standards.
  2. Support cryptographic analysis, including evaluating encryption methods and cryptographic primitives.
  3. Contribute to cryptographic inventory management, including the documentation of cryptographic assets.
  4. Help identify potential security risks and assist in mitigating vulnerabilities in cryptographic implementations.
  5. Work with programming languages like Python and C++ to support secure cryptographic solutions.
  6. Stay informed on advancements in quantum computing and post-quantum cryptography.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  2. Basic understanding of cryptographic principles, including encryption techniques and cryptographic protocols.
  3. Some experience with Python or C++ (academic or practical).
  4. Interest in post-quantum cryptography and willingness to learn about emerging security challenges.
