The Team:

As an Associate Platform Engineer in our Cloud Infrastructure Team, your goal is to support and enhance the infrastructure powering Zopa's applications and services. The team maintains a robust, scalable, and secure environment, ensuring smooth and efficient application operation.

The Role:

This associate-level role offers a great opportunity to develop cloud skills and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools. You will deploy and manage our AWS infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes clusters and other self-hosted environments. You will automate repetitive tasks, manage containerized applications, and collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure with business needs.

About You:

• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Proficiency in shell scripting
• Basic understanding of AWS services
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform
• Basic networking knowledge

Added Bonus:

• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with Consul (service mesh) and Vault (secret management)
