Ralph Lauren is looking for a passionate and highly motivated individual to join the European Omni-Channel Planning & Strategy team, sitting within the broader European Omni-Channel Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting and strategic financial analysis of marketing campaigns for the B&M direct to consumer channels (Full Price Retail & Outlets).


The successful Junior Analyst will explore customer and transactional data to identify key insights, this position will suit a highly numerate person who is excited about deep diving into complex datasets to provide actionable recommendations and solving key business problems. The role will work closely with other teams within the Marketing department, as well as key functions in the wider business, such as Retail Planning and Finance.


Responsibilities
  • Best in Class Reporting.
  • Manage and track automated and excel format dashboards to track customer and financial marketing performance, strong attention to detail is critical.
  • Develop processes to communicate and present results to relevant stakeholders in a consistent, timely manner.
Forecasting
  • Analyse customer promotional elasticity to limit promotional reach and improve segmentation.
  • Identify key marketing opportunities and mitigate financial risk.
Strategy
  • Assist strategic phasing of key marketing events to drive sustainable business growth while balancing brand elevation.
  • Analyse customer and transactional data, identifying opportunities and extracting recommendations.

  • Analytically minded with creative flair and interest in luxury retail.
  • Keenness to learn and to innovate; self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience with SQL, Adobe Analytics, BI or Tableau a plus however not essential.
  • Strategic Analytical thinking.
  • Comfortable manipulating amounts of data.
  • Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy imperative.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to present clear recommendations to multiple levels of management.
