Booth Welsh is seeking a Planning Engineer with experience in the Nuclear industry to join their team. The position can be offered on a permanent basis or hourly, depending on the candidate.
As a Planning Engineer, you will be a key member of the Strategic Planning department, responsible for the safe, quality, timely, and within-budget delivery of station shutdown maintenance periods.
You will work as part of a team to prepare outage plans, organize resources, spares, and risk management for specific areas, and monitor progress during outage execution. You will support delivery and highlight risks to the lead planner and Outage Group heads.
An outage involves shutdown periods for refuelling and essential maintenance, including statutory, refuelling, and inspection outages. The role requires liaising with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Supply Chain to develop and maintain logic-linked and resourced execution plans.
