Job description

This role will be based in our Leavesden, Watford office!

Photographers at ASOS are highly organised, efficient, creatives, who have an eye for fashion, photography, and seamless operations. As a Junior Photographer, you will work closely with Seniors, Management, and Leads at ASOS Studios. You will support departmental efficiency, think commercially and innovatively, and deliver industry-leading e-commerce assets for our 20-something customer base. You should be able to support a team with a creative, strategic, and operational mindset.

What you'll be doing

  • Represent and shoot products within ASOS Studios to the highest standards, true to our ASOS aesthetic.
  • Primarily work on model shoots, including capturing video, ensuring targets, shoot guides, and KPIs are met, and contributing to improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with the shoot team to execute shoots to the highest standard.
  • Ensure creative quality and volumetric KPIs are adhered to.
  • Develop and adapt your skills to ensure high standards in shoots.
  • Adapt to different shoot types and methods seamlessly.
  • Support team growth, transformation, and departmental strategy delivery.
  • Participate in team and departmental meetings.
  • Follow and improve established processes to meet creative and quality standards.
  • Work with your Senior to deliver departmental strategy and build strong relationships with the studio team.
  • Demonstrate brand awareness by researching ideas and assessing competition.
  • Suggest workflow improvements to streamline practices.
  • Support projects aligned with departmental strategy and other tasks as assigned.
  • Show understanding of LED lighting, Capture One, and Canon camera systems, and apply this knowledge on set.
  • Manage studio kit and equipment, including weekly inventory checks to ensure functionality and stock levels.
