Job Description:

Due to continued growth and business wins, my client, one of the UK's leading financial institutions, is seeking an experienced Pension Technician (Defined Benefit) to join their Pension De-Risking team. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing scheme transition plans, keeping trustees and interested parties informed of progress
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to establish effective scheme transition methods
  • Overseeing project progress, including reviews, client communication, and maintaining an audit trail
  • Participating in client meetings and presentations to assess data quality before transactions

Applicants should have strong Defined Benefit experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. This role may suit a DB Team Leader or Manager seeking to advance their career into a more consultative role, moving away from Pensions Administration BAU work. The client is committed to developing talent within their organization.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to advance your pensions career within a leading UK institution, with comprehensive training, development prospects, and a competitive remuneration package including bonus, study support, pension, and medical benefits.
