A highly regarded and growing financial planning firm in Bromsgrove is looking to add a Junior Paraplanner to their dynamic Technical Research team. This hybrid role offers excellent training and development opportunities, along with a clear path to progression.
The Role:
As a Junior Paraplanner, you will support senior paraplanners and financial advisers in delivering high-quality financial advice to clients. You’ll gain hands-on experience preparing suitability reports, conducting product research, and supporting financial planning strategies across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing client reports and personalised financial plans
Conduct product and provider research using industry tools
Support advisers in gathering information and progressing cases
Accurately maintain client files and records using internal systems
Learn to carry out tax, pension, and investment calculations
Collaborate with the wider paraplanning team to ensure compliance and consistency
Contribute to process improvement and best practice development
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in an financial planning administrator role within an IFA, wealth management, or financial advisory firm
Strong communication and organisational skills
Keen interest in personal finance, tax planning, and investment strategies
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ideally exposure to financial planning software (e.g., Voyant, FE Analytics, or similar)
Enthusiasm to develop into a fully qualified paraplanner
