Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Junior Packaging Manager on a 13-month fixed-term contract. You will coordinate packaging projects from brief to production, working with suppliers and teams across the UK and globally to deliver compliant, commercially optimized packaging that meets M&S standards.

You’ll apply packaging knowledge, stay on schedule, and help manage costs while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring accuracy of specs and documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of artwork, repro, print and offline processes across packaging substrates.
• Knowledge and understanding of packaging construction and production.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail; proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of packaging projects against briefs and timelines, managing stakeholders and costs.
• Review and approve routine artwork and development samples within delegated authority.
• Coordinate proofing and pre-production activity using established routes and standards.
• Maintain supplier and internal relationships; ensure pricing and packaging specs are accurate.
