Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Junior Packaging Manager on a 13-month fixed-term contract. You will coordinate packaging projects from brief to production, working with UK and global suppliers to meet cost, timeline and critical path targets.

You will review artwork, manage pre-production activity, and ensure packaging meets sustainability, compliance, and labeling requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of artwork, repro, print and offline processes across packaging substrates.
• Knowledge of packaging construction and production.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with strong collaboration.
• Proofreading with PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work under pressure and make clear, logical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of packaging projects against briefs and timelines.
• Review and approve routine artwork and samples within authority.
• Coordinate proofreading and pre-production activity using established routes.
• Maintain strong supplier and global team relationships with accurate pricing/specs.
• Apply sustainability, compliance, brand and international labelling requirements.
