Job description

Overview: Gopuff is looking for a Junior Operations Supervisor to join the Operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, the Junior Operations Supervisor (JOS) plays an essential role at Gopuff, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. The role is a core part of the Site leadership team, responsible for maintaining high operational standards at our MFCs to ensure timely and accurate delivery for customers. Customers rely on Gopuff for their everyday essentials, day and night, rain or shine. We are assembling a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers eager to reshape retail faster than ever. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leading: Manage and lead the warehouse team during your shift, train new team members, and be confident in processes and products.
  2. Picking and packing: Accurately pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
  3. Delivery Partners: Support management of Delivery Partners to ensure smooth delivery experiences.
  4. Issue resolution: Contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items.
  5. Goods Inbound: Receive products from vendors, ensure physical counts match purchase orders/invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
  6. Stock management: Organize inventory, conduct cycle counts, manage waste, and oversee partnerships like TooGoodToGo.
  7. Warehouse management: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse compliant with standards.
  8. Health and Safety: Support onsite health and safety compliance and testing.

About You:

  • Experience in restaurant, retail, or warehouse environments.
  • Basic knowledge of web-based software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, responsibility, and honesty.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Organized, positive, team-oriented, and helpful attitude.
  • Flexible availability during operational hours (7 am - 3 am).
