Job Description:

Salt is recruiting for a client within central government that requires multiple SC and NPPV3 cleared Junior Operations Analysts for a 6-month contract with possible extension, based in North London. This role involves a shift working scheme, requiring work during days, nights, and weekends on a scheduled rotation. The rate is negotiable DOE.

Role summary/context:

This role involves acting as a member of a shift team, ensuring full coverage during absences. Responsibilities include monitoring PNC services, responding to service alerts, managing Service Now queues, processing incidents and password requests, running scheduled batch work, and liaising with Incident Management, Service Desk, and technical teams to ensure successful data transmission and network alert monitoring.

Skills (including specialist skills) and/or knowledge required:

  • Operations Analyst experience required.
  • Experience working in a contact centre / operations centre.
  • Helpdesk experience dealing with tickets.
  • Monitoring of Service Now queue and processing of INCs and Password requests.
  • Running weekly and monthly batch work for Forces and Law Agencies, processing ad hoc batch work.
  • Re-setting passwords for customers.
  • Monitoring critical network alerts and ensuring encrypted data is transmitted successfully.
  • Liaising with Incident Management, Service Desk, and technical teams.
