As a Junior Naval Architect, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary. The primary focus of the job will be the delivery of technical projects for the UK Ministry of Defence and international commercial customers.
Day-to-day, you’ll be working in resistance and propulsion, cavitation, propulsion and propeller design and model manufacturing. As part of the wider team, there will be opportunities to be involved in ship and submarine stability, seakeeping, manoeuvring and control, structures and life support.

Many roles in QinetiQ are subject to national security vetting being completed, applicants who already hold the appropriate level of vetting may be able to transfer it upon appointment.
