Job summary

Junior Jam is seeking a Junior Music and Media Manager to help run the department alongside the current Manager and Assistant Manager. The role offers progression as duties expand with experience, with both current Managers starting as teachers within the company.

The position involves coordinating across the business, communicating with schools, recruiting, planning lessons, inducting staff, and maintaining equipment. Travel is a feature of the role as the company covers multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Passion for teaching and delivering high-quality service to schools.
• Experience in teaching, ideally primary, is preferred.
• Hold a valid driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with staff across the business.
• Communicate with schools to ensure a high-quality service.
• Recruit for new positions.
• Write lesson plans and planning documents for schools or staff.
• Induct and train new staff members.
• Train current staff in new lessons.
• Maintain and update music and media equipment (iPads and instruments).
• Cover iMedia and Music sessions when staff are ill.
