Job summary

Junior Jam delivers PPA teaching across hundreds of UK schools. The ideal candidate will lead engaging musical lessons with full support from Junior Jam and benefit from ongoing training and ready-to-use plans.

Driving licence and car are required to transport resources. No teaching degree is mandatory, and some teaching experience is beneficial as you gain valuable classroom leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching either in 1:1 or group situations.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and student engagement.
• Must have a valid driving licence and access to a car.
• Knowledge in one or more of: music production, singing, drumming, song writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging musical lessons across schools for the academic year.
• Lead classroom sessions with full support from Junior Jam.
• Utilise up-to-date lesson plans and training provided by Junior Jam.
• Use supplied resources to aid teaching and student participation.
• Receive ongoing management support and regular pay appraisals.

Junior Jam have the pleasure of delivering PPA into hundreds of schools across the UK. We are always looking for dedicated and passionate people, with backgrounds, and education in musicianship and media to join our team of teachers. For this role we do not ask that you have a teaching degree although some experience teaching would be beneficial.

For the candidate we hire this role provides a way into teaching and gives valuable experience leading classroom. When you go into a classroom, with full support from Junior Jam, you take on the role of a classroom teacher. Delivering wide variety of engaging musical subjects for the academic year and longer. Junior Jam always offers full training provided for all subject areas.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience teaching either in 1:1 or group situations.
• A passion for teaching.
• Driving licence and car to be able to transport your resources (required)
• Knowledge in one or more of the following.
  • Music Production.
  • Singing.
  • Drumming.
  • Song writing
