A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a Physiotherapist with a BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration. Successful candidates will provide patient-centred care, engage in multidisciplinary teamwork, and maintain precise patient records. The role involves clinical assessments and collaboration with a clinical specialist physiotherapist. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a caseload and supporting team decisions.
Successful candidates need to hold a BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy and be HCPC registered. Candidates will have a proven history of providing patient-centred care within physiotherapy service. It is important for candidates to be able to communicate effectively with all disciplines involved in a patients care both those from within the organisation and those outside to ensure effective multidisciplinary working, while maintaining accurate patient records in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy standards and Trust and service standards and policies. To ensure timely and effective communication with the clinical/therapy leads and senior staff on all professional matters.
There is a need to attend staff meetings and actively participate ensuring understanding of information imparted. Additionally, to engage within the departmental objectives to progress the physiotherapy service. To work under the supervision of a clinical specialist physiotherapists to apply clinical skills in assessment, treatment and evaluation in line with the iMSK pathways. QUALIFICATIONS AND FURTHER TRAINING Essential Diploma/Degree leading to inclusion on HCPC Physiotherapy register Experience in MSK student placement and evidence of relevant post registration professional self-development Experience of working in a team and contributing to team decisions Experience of managing and prioritising own caseload Experience of working with physiotherapy assistants and ability to delegate Involvement in appraisal system as an appraisee.
