Project Slingshot is a global nonprofit ending factory farming, seeking a Junior Motion Designer. You’ll create motion graphics and social-first edits across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and beyond, helping senior creatives focus on larger campaigns and films.
You’ll collaborate with the Chief Creative Officer and editors, gaining exposure to diverse disciplines, growing quickly, and bringing fresh, culture-forward ideas to the team.
Project Slingshot is a global nonprofit working to end factory farming. We do this by exposing the lies, cruelty and power of Big Ag through disruptive campaigns that cut through the noise, capture public attention and build unstoppable momentum for change.
Our work ranges from daily social content and celebrity partnerships to documentaries, outdoor advertising, websites, fundraising materials and larger global campaigns.
We’re looking for someone who loves making things look and feel great, enjoys emerging creative trends, and wants to help create work that people actually stop scrolling for.
As our Junior Motion Designer you’ll help make our work impossible to scroll past. You’ll create the motion graphics and social-first edits that carry our campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and beyond - and in doing so, free up our senior creatives to focus on larger campaigns, films and creative development.
Most of your week will be spent animating, editing and adapting content for social. You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to bigger projects, including documentaries, celebrity campaigns, outdoor advertising, websites, reports and global advocacy campaigns.
Because we’re a small team, you’ll work closely with our Chief Creative Officer, senior designer and editors, gaining exposure to a broad range of creative disciplines and helping shape work that reaches audiences all over the world. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to grow fast, learn alongside experienced creatives, and bring fresh perspectives and ideas of their own. We care far more about what you’ve made than how long you’ve been making it.
Project Slingshot is a fully remote organisation. This role is UK-based, and you can work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection and reasonable overlap with UK working hours. There will occasionally be opportunities and expectations to travel for team meet-ups, campaign shoots, conferences and planning sessions. Travel costs will be covered by Project Slingshot.
Project Slingshot is an equal opportunity employer. We strongly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free environment where everyone feels valued and supported to do their best work. If you are interested in this role but do not meet every requirement listed, we still encourage you to apply.
