Job description

The Company:

An excellent opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser to join a successful Beauty company working with Blue Chip Retailers managing the critical path from start to finish.

You will be liaising with internal departments including Design, NPD, Shipping and Quality to ensure customers receive the highest standards and the company continues to grow.

The Role:
  1. Create and monitor Purchase Orders and Customer Sales Orders for UK and China production.
  2. Ensure timely delivery of orders to agreed quality standards.
  3. Liaise with shipping/logistics team for vessel bookings and UK dispatch.
  4. Regularly update key stakeholders on order status, changes, and critical path updates.
  5. Contribute to customer meetings and calls.
  6. Work closely with Planning/Purchasing team to manage component arrivals and production planning.
  7. Ensure accuracy of accompanying documentation, including artwork and carton markings.
  8. Manage customer order systems for accuracy.
Skills Required:
  1. Previous experience in a similar role.
  2. Previous experience liaising with and building relationships with customers.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  4. Ability to manage a busy workload with targeted deadlines.
  5. Excellent IT skills.
  6. Previous experience managing a critical path.
