As the Junior Merchandiser:

1. Create the strategy for your categories department with a proven track record of delivering successful actions.
2. Create category level product mix using history to build your plans.
3. Ensure that the WSSI is updated with the buy plan and the KPI's are signed off with the Senior Merchandiser.
4. Attend key selection meetings with the merchandiser and head of product.
5. Build the Range plan.
6. Manage the Stock seasonality within the WSSI.
7. Overview the ratios for all buys in conjunction with Assistant Merchandiser and product developers.
8. Establish working relationships with the Supplier Base.
9. Manage intake at category and line level.
10. Review weekly trading performance and achieved KPI's, identifying issues and the course of action in preparation for the weekly trading meetings and submit to the senior merchandiser.
11. Propose and agree actions to recover risk and maximize opportunities with the Merchandiser and relevant Product Developer at category and line level.
12. Forecast all lines and sub-cat groups for your department.
13. Management of OTB.
14. On time delivery, rebuys cancellations.
15. Markdown proposals.
16. Manage the range plan in season reflecting any changes.
17. Manage and plan all line cards.
18. Manage the store option plans to ensure each store has the optimum amount of stock.
19. Establish collaborative working relationships within Team and across functions.
20. Monitor the competition closely on a weekly, if not daily basis.
