Job summary

Watches of Switzerland Group in Leicester is seeking a dedicated Junior Merchandiser to join the Merchandising - Watches Team at Carlton Park. You will support the Merchandiser with planning and monitoring purchases, ensuring profitability and timely stock flow, while maintaining brand standards across our luxury watch ranges.

This role offers a structured training environment, exposure to high-end brands, and the chance to develop negotiation and analytical skills within a supportive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience at Assistant Merchandiser level.
• Evidence of supervising and coaching other team members.
• Evidence of coordinating competing priorities to meet targets.
• Experience working within a budget while trading profit opportunities.
• Excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
• Excellent motivational, coaching and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandiser with the effective delivery of the department's strategy.

Here at Watches of Switzerland Group we are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join the Merchandising - Watches Team at our Carlton Park office in Leicester.

You will support the Merchandiser with the effective delivery of the department's strategy and for the planning, controlling and monitoring of purchases. You will ensure that the correct processes and procedures are followed for the intake and distribution of merchandise for the purpose of maximising sales and profit in the assigned departments and will be responsible for delivering agreed business, revenue and margin objectives in your area of responsibility.

About you

• Considerable experience at an Assistant Merchandiser level
• Evidence of supervising and coaching other team members to deliver outstanding results as part of a high performing team
• Evidence of co-ordinating competing priorities to ensure targets and deadlines are met
• Evidence of working within a budget whilst still trading profit opportunities
