Casablanca Paris is seeking a Junior Menswear Designer focused on Wovens and Leather to join the design team in Greater London. You will support research, design and development of seasonal collections while maintaining Casablanca's distinctive aesthetic.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of menswear design experience, including internships.
• A degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Strong interest in menswear with good research skills and knowledge of fabrics, garment construction and product development.
• A real appreciation of Casablanca's aesthetic and creative identity.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with ability to produce clear technical drawings and design presentations.
• Organised, proactive and detail-oriented, able to manage several tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A good communicator who works well across teams.
• A positive attitude, eager to learn and open to feedback.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the research and development of seasonal, continuity and capsule collections, exploring concepts, fabrics, colours and silhouettes.
• Create and contribute to mood boards, research presentations, design sketches and product range overviews.
• Research trends, vintage references, fabric innovations and construction techniques to bring fresh ideas to menswear collections.
• Develop design proposals balancing creativity, innovation and commercial relevance.
• Assist in the design and development of Wovens and Leather menswear from concept to final sample approval.
• Collaborate with Head of Menswear and Design team, incorporating feedback and maintaining alignment with collection direction.
• Produce clear design sketches, technical drawings, colourways and design specifications.
• Support development and refinement of garments through fittings, sample reviews and design amendments.
• Work with Product Development and Product Managers to meet design, quality, costing and timeline requirements.
• Collaborate with Fabric Development and suppliers on sourcing fabrics, trims and components.
• Maintain consistency across the collection while contributing new ideas within key categories.
• Work with wider teams through the collection development process and keep organised design files, fabric references and development records.
• Assist with showroom preparation, collection styling, fittings, fashion shows and other presentations or marketing activities.
• Manage assigned tasks and ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
• Demonstrate awareness of departmental budgets and responsible use of resources.
