Job summary

The Londoner in London is seeking a Meetings and Events Junior Event Manager to join its standout Events team in Leicester Square. You will support planning, coordination and client liaison for a portfolio of events, from confirmation to delivery.

This role offers exposure to a premium hospitality environment and the opportunity to develop under senior colleagues, contributing to memorable guest experiences across our venues.

Qualifications

• Experience in Meetings & Events, preferably hotels or premium hospitality.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communication with clients in person, on the phone, and by email.
• Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of meetings, events and private functions from confirmation through delivery.
• Manage a portfolio of smaller events while supporting senior colleagues on larger occasions.
• Build relationships with clients and clearly communicate requirements and expectations.
• Conduct client meetings, show rounds and pre-event discussions to align on details.
• Coordinate menus, timelines, room layouts, AV and other event elements with operations teams.
