Across our offices we have a multidisciplinary team of over 400+ people who collaborate to produce global campaigns that aim to enhance people’s lives – whether that is by empowering patients to understand their treatment options, providing a range of support to carers or educating Healthcare Professionals to make the most effective treatment decisions possible.

The Junior Medical Writer Role

Using your scientific background and expertise, you will help connect healthcare professionals and patients with the knowledge, tools and services they need to better achieve their goals. Working on multiple global healthcare accounts, you will help your clients deliver well-informed, scientifically accurate and compelling communications across a range of media. Expect to be:

  • Writing creative, scientifically accurate communications – from patient information to websites to social channels
  • Carrying out research and analysing data that supports your communication
  • Working collaboratively with each discipline to ensure accuracy and the most engaging method of communication
  • Gaining in-depth understanding of different therapy areas and brands

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have a Life Science degree
  • Be able to demonstrate a genuine interest and ability in scientific and creative writing
  • Have a passion to work in healthcare and produce creative and engaging communication
  • A team player with excellent initiative and problem-solving skills - you will be working with big teams on multiple accounts, so this is a must!
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail
  • Be professional, approachable and confident in sharing their ideas

The Application Process

  • You submit your application
  • We have a screening call, either over the phone or Microsoft Teams (we would love to be able to speak to everyone but that isn’t always possible)
  • First stage: you will be given a writing task
  • Second stage: An interview will be booked in and can be completed in the office or remotely. Covers questions around the main competencies of the role
  • Then...a decision!

If you need any reasonable adjustments, just let us know!
