We are seeking a Junior Medical Writer to join our growing medical communications team.

Role Overview:

Embark on a fulfilling journey as a Junior Medical Writer at our leading med comms agency. This entry-level role offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals, with extensive training and mentoring to develop your skills in scientific and medical writing. You will support our Global Medical Communications team in executing diverse projects, ensuring high-quality content that meets client objectives and industry standards.

Through this role, you will learn to adapt content and style to meet specific client needs and stay updated on the latest developments across various therapeutic areas.

What you’ll do:

  1. Support the Global Medical Communications team in delivering medical communication projects.
  2. Learn new therapeutic areas quickly and apply this knowledge effectively.
  3. Conduct thorough research, including literature review and competitive analysis, to support projects.
  4. Create various materials (e.g., training slide decks, scripts, webinars), adapting your writing style for different audiences.
  5. Maintain strict quality control, including accurate referencing, data verification, and proofreading.
  6. Communicate confidently with team members and clients, with support from senior staff.
  7. Organize and analyze project information effectively.
  8. Participate in project briefings to understand timelines and requirements.
  9. Prioritize workload collaboratively, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
  10. Be an active and integral part of project teams.

What you should have:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in life sciences, medical, or related scientific discipline.

  • Ability to analyze and discuss scientific topics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of the clinical development and drug approval processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and reviewing multiple information sources.
  • Quick learner and adaptable to new scenarios.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
