Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Quantity Surveyor. This role involves supporting senior quantity surveyors in managing costs, contracts, and financial aspects of mechanical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in mechanical systems and construction.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for mechanical projects
  • Monitor project costs and progress, identifying and addressing any variances
  • Assist in preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and project documentation
Requirements:
  • A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience in a quantity surveying role or construction environment
