Job Title: Junior Mechanical Engineer

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career and gain hands-on experience within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and assemblies
• Produce 2D and 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
• Support senior engineers across ongoing projects and new product development
• Liaise with production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
• Contribute to documentation, reports, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)

Requirements:

• Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn within an engineering environment
