Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a well-established British manufacturer in recruiting a Junior Mechanical / Electrical Fitter in Fakenham. The role covers mechanical assembly, electrical wiring and fault finding, with full in‑house training and significant overtime opportunities to boost earnings.

You will work from engineering drawings in a workshop, Monday to Friday 8am–5pm, developing skills on bespoke lifting and handling equipment and joining a close-knit engineering team.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical or electrical fitting knowledge.
• Willing to learn and develop skills in a manufacturing environment.

Are you a Junior Mechanical / Electrical Fitter or similar, looking to join a growing manufacturer offering full in-house training on a range of bespoke equipment, a supportive working environment and plenty of overtime to boost your earnings?

In this role, you will be assembling, fitting and testing specialist lifting and handling equipment. You will work from engineering drawings, carrying out mechanical assembly, electrical wiring and fault finding, with further training provided.

This company is a well-established British manufacturer specialising in bespoke lifting and handling equipment. They supply customers across a range of industries and are looking to expand their close-knit engineering team.

This role would suit a Junior Mechanical / Electrical Fitter or similar, with basic fitting knowledge, looking to develop their skills within a growing company offering long‑term stability and overtime opportunities.
