Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a specialist manufacturer in Fareham. You will design bespoke machinery, create 2D and 3D CAD drawings, and contribute to testing and project delivery.

The role offers training, progression, and a Monday-to-Friday schedule with a competitive salary of £32,000 - £35,000 plus benefits. Commutable from Portsmouth, Havant, Southampton, Gosport, Hedge End and other coast towns.

Qualifications

• Experience using AutoCAD, Inventor or similar CAD software.
• Junior Design Engineers encouraged to apply.
• Mechanical Engineering qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of bespoke machinery, tooling and manufacturing equipment.
• Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, Inventor or similar software.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers on bespoke projects.
• Develop technical documentation and drawings for project handovers.
