Junior Mechanical Design Engineer - Aerodynamics will support the design and development of mechanical assemblies for aerodynamic testing. You will create 3D CAD models and drawings (Siemens NX) and collaborate with Aerodynamicists, Model Shop, and Manufacturing to implement practical engineering solutions. You will assist concept-to-test development and contribute to design validation and continuous improvement, in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and mechanical design principles.
• Experience using CAD software through university projects, placements, Formula Student, or industry.
• An interest in manufacturing processes and materials.
• Familiarity with FEA, GD&T, and engineering analysis techniques would be advantageous.
• A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• A genuine passion for motorsport and high-performance engineering.

As a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer - Aerodynamics, you'll support the design and development of components and systems used within our Wind Tunnel and Wind Tunnel Model environments, working alongside experienced engineers, aerodynamicists, and manufacturing specialists.
