About the role

Capgemini Engineering is recruiting graduate or junior mechanical design engineers. As part of a large team, you'll be key to delivering quality to our clients. We seek adaptive, driven individuals who can deliver on time.

Work will be on-site at our Cardiff office.

Hybrid working: Your work environment will vary, including company offices, client sites, and home, but not 100% remote.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate within a team on complex design projects.
• Identify and communicate design issues.
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and MBD.
• Apply manufacturing and quality standards.
• Manage components, sub-assemblies, DMUs, and BoMs.
• Resolve technical issues promptly.
• Use PLM systems for work management.
• Support clients and team members throughout projects.
• Document work through reports and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with industry and client standards.
