JobDescription:
We are seeking a motivated anddetail-oriented Junior Mechanical Building Services Quantity Surveyorto join our team. In this role, you will support our senior quantitysurveyors and project managers in managing the contractual andfinancial aspects of our mechanical building services projects,ensuring they are completed within budget and to the higheststandards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financialreports for mechanical building services projects.
• Conductquantity take-offs and measurements.
• Review contracts withclients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costsand progress, identifying and addressing any variances.
• Assist in preparing valuations, variations, and finalaccounts.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, andother stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Support in providing advice on contractual claims anddisputes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of allfinancial transactions and project documentation.
• Work onprojects in various sectors, including the Ministry of Justice (MoJ),data centres, commercial, finance, andretail.
  
  Requirements:
• A degree ordiploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a relatedfield.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to workindependently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Previous experience in aquantity surveying role or construction environment is an advantagebut not essential.
