Job summary

TeamSport, a leading indoor karting operator in the UK, is recruiting a motivated Junior Mechanic to join our track team. If you love hands-on work and go-karting, this is the perfect role to start your career in a fast-paced venue.

You will help maintain karts, perform inspections, and support race events while delivering great customer service. Weekend and evening shifts are required, with various contracts from 4 to 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Some basic knowledge or experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance (vehicles).
• Basic knowledge of engine mechanics and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with colleagues and customers.
• Passion for go-karting and delivering a great customer experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of go-karts to keep them in top condition.
• Perform routine inspections and carry out necessary repairs.
• Carry out general maintenance: oil changes, tyre rotations, cleaning.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to troubleshoot issues.
• Keep records of maintenance activities and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with track preparation and setup for race events.
• Provide exceptional customer service regarding go-kart performance.
