Job summary

Wessex Internet is recruiting a Marketing Executive to join our growing Marketing team and help us connect more people with our full-fibre network. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone starting their marketing career—from graduates to apprentices— eager to gain hands-on experience across digital campaigns, website content, SEO, paid media, social media and local marketing.

You'll work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and external partners, supporting campaign

Qualifications

• Some marketing experience or exposure, gained through employment, university, an internship, apprenticeship, placement or personal projects.
• A genuine interest in marketing and digital channels, with enthusiasm to develop a career in the field.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good IT and analytical skills, with confidence learning new systems and working with marketing data.
• A proactive, collaborative and willing-to-learn approach, with the ability to work independently and effectively with colleagues and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of digital and local marketing campaigns, including paid media, social media and activity across new network build areas.
• Create, update and maintain website content, landing pages, blogs and campaign materials.
• Support SEO activity, including keyword research, on-page optimisation and monitoring search performance.
• Coordinate localised marketing activity, including door drops, build-area campaigns and customer acquisition activity.
• Monitor website, campaign and marketing performance, helping to identify trends, insights and opportunities.
• Work closely with the Marketing team, wider business and external agencies to deliver accurate, engaging and timely marketing activity.
