Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting an industry-leading Electrical Engineering company in Aberdeen to recruit a Junior Marine Electrician (On-Shore). The role offers full training to become a Marine electrical expert, with a standard Monday–Thursday 8:00–16:30 and Friday 8:00–15:30 pattern, based in Aberdeen with occasional travel.

You will perform call-outs, fault finding, planned maintenance and servicing of marine electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
• Experience within the Marine Industry (Must Need)
• Full UK Driving license

This role would suit a motivated Electrical Engineer based in Aberdeen with a background of working on Industrial electrical systems.

This role:

• Call out’s, Fault Finding, Planned maintenance, Fixing and servicing marine electrical systems
• Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am- 4:30 pm – Friday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Based in Aberdeen, occasional travel further afield
• Full training on Marine Electrical systems
• Optional overtime (boosted earning potential)

The Person:

• Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
• Experience within the Marine Industry (Must Need)
• Full UK Driving license
