Marvin Recruitment is looking for a Junior Management Accountant to join a growing financial services business in Watford. This role offers a blend of management accounting tasks and support for the investment team, providing excellent exposure to finance and commercial operations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree from a Russell Group university and be part-qualified ACCA or CIMA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in a fast-paced environment, with a salary of up to £50k plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Degree from a Russell Group university.
• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACCA.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Post journals, accruals and prepayments, and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end reporting and variance analysis.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Produce management information and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Support the investment team with reporting and analysis of investment activities.
• Monitor investment pipeline performance and prepare related reports.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain strong financial control.

Education
