As part of Safran's finance team, the Junior Management Accountant will act as a Business Partner alongside the Finance Manager, delivering financial information and analysis to Business Management and the Safran Group. What will I be doing?

Responsible for delivering accurate overheads budgets and forecasts, managing site overhead controls, fixed asset register, and month-end accruals and prepayments.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Business partnering with cost centre managers, providing support and analysis.
• Involvement in capex review meetings with senior management.
• Assessing capital projects using financial appraisal techniques.
• Managing headcount data for budgeting and reporting.
• Maintaining finance processes and supporting audits.
• Supporting external audit processes and preparing ad-hoc reports.
• Participating in cost optimization and lean projects.

Job Requirements

• Experience in financial reporting and P&L accounts.
• Knowledge of Fourth Shift, Power BI, and FiT is desirable.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Strong business partnering skills and confidence in presenting to management.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Relevant qualifications (CIMA, ACA, ACCA finalist or part-qualified).
