Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Maintenance Technician to join our Hillarys Maintenance team, based at our Washington site.

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll complete various tasks to support the team, including (but not limited to)…

  • Production breakdown maintenance – skillfully repairing and replacing production equipment, in conjunction with the ‘production breakdown’ request system whilst recording downtime data affiliated with each attendance.
  • Equipment reconfiguration – the repositioning of manufacturing equipment and services to accommodate changes in production flow or orientation.
  • Site tasks – the completion of specific site tasks throughout all departments of the business, including the management of componentry and tooling.

  • Communication: Display effective communication skills, regularly updating progress to key stakeholders, whilst simultaneously fostering positive working relationships.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilising Continuous Improvement methodology to enhance overall effectiveness.

Proven experience in maintenance, mechanics, and/or engineering is essential for this role. You will also have working knowledge of MS Word and Excel and display the company values. You will have experience, or be qualified in an engineering capacity, with first-hand experience of working within a manufacturing environment; incorporating job specific Health and Safety legislation.
