Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting a Junior Maintenance Engineer for a days-based 3 on, 3 off shift in Oswestry. The role focuses on fault-finding and preventative maintenance on blow molding, packing and wrapping machinery, with funded PLC training and clear progression paths.

You will work in a newly refitted factory offering a clean environment and extensive training on bespoke equipment, with opportunities to earn 41k-46k plus 3 on 3 off shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• Junior Maintenance Engineer with manufacturing or Ex-Forces background.
• Electrical understanding required.
• Commutable to Oswestry and willing to learn PLC fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance on manufacturing lines.
• Learn fault-finding and programming of PLCs.
• Engage in extensive training on modern machinery and processes.
• Participate in funded HNC/HND courses for progression.

Are you a Junior Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing or Ex-Forces background looking for the opportunity to work in a newly refitted factory that boasts a clean environment and can offer training on specialised automated equipment?

In this role you will be fault-finding and carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on blow molding machines, packing machines and wrapping machines. This will be mostly electrical work, with some reactive mechanical maintenance when needed. Training can be given on PLC fault-finding, and additional support through qualifications.

This role would suit a Junior Maintenance Engineer from a Manufacturing or Ex-Forces background looking for further training on PLC's and great work/life balance through a 3 on, 3 off days-based shift pattern.

The Role:

• Carrying out electrical PPMs and Reactive Maintenance
• Training on how to fault-find and adjust PLC programmes

• 3-On-3-Off Shift Pattern, Days based, 6am - 6pm
