Junior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

£36,000 - £40,000 + Overtime OTE 45k + 3k Bonus + Training + Progression + 33 Days Holiday

Are you a Junior Maintenance Engineer with an electrical qualification looking to join a rapidly growing manufacturing company, offering continuous training and development through shadowing and external courses, and clear routes to progress to a qualified Maintenance Engineer?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to step into a Junior Maintenance role in a manufacturing environment, working in a close-knit team to develop your skills.

In this role you will be working both mechanically and electrically on a range of manufacturing machinery with full training given. This will be split by planned (70%) and reactive (30%) maintenance, including fault finding on machines and shadowing an experienced team.

Founded over 20 years ago, this manufacturer boasts a turnover of over £30 million and has excellent growth plans for the coming years, looking to move towards an automated factory and expanding the team whilst doing so.

This role would suit a Junior Engineer with an electrical qualification looking to progress their career in a varied, hands-on maintenance position where they will be fully developed and progressed into a qualified Maintenance Engineer.

The Role:

  • Carrying out preventative (70%) and planned (30%) maintenance
  • Working on a range of mechanical and electrical manufacturing machinery
  • Fault finding on PLCs and three phase electrics, with training given
  • Permanent afternoon shift (2pm-10pm Monday to Friday)
  • Overtime available and very occasional call outs when needed
