An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established building services company based in London. CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Junior Maintenance Engineer with electrical, mechanical, or plumbing experience to work in a commercial building in the City of London. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance alongside the onsite team. You will work closely with senior staff to gain experience and training in building services.

The ideal candidate will have some experience in Facilities Maintenance and building upkeep. The company offers a competitive salary up to £40,000, overtime, extensive training, and opportunities for career progression.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 17:00 pm
• 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays
• Overtime available

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting installation, fault-finding, lamp replacement
• Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
• Plant room maintenance
• Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units maintenance (filter changes, cleaning)
• Control panel maintenance
• Ballast replacement
• BMS system monitoring (e.g., temperature control)
• All aspects of M&E and fabric maintenance
• Maintaining and updating log books
• Plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets
• Pumps and motors maintenance

Requirements

• Electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 3) or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds Level 2)
• Ability to provide copies of trade certificates
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
• Hardworking attitude
• Good communication skills
• Client-facing experience
