The Role

We are seeking a Junior London Market Controller, to join our Working Capital team to provide support to the business in becoming more operationally efficient and effective to ensure we are achieving best practice. This role would require 2 days of presence in our London office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing our fees into Xchanging.
  • To be responsible for the London Market collection.
  • Manage the allocated ledger.
  • Manage multiple debtors' ledgers, predominantly with insurance and reinsurance companies, ensuring all overdue debts/accounts are followed up appropriately.
  • Liaising with both internal and external teams to collate supporting documents.
  • Support the Working Capital team in delivering results.
  • Maximise cash collection, reducing aged debt, DSO, query levels.
  • Improve cash collections with prompt and accurate processing.
  • Review and distribute invoices not sent and update files.
  • Review and deal with unallocated cash including sundry.
  • Carry out Ad Hoc duties and tasks that are allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.

  • Experience of insurance operations (Desirable).
  • Any qualifications related to finance.
