About the job

We’re currently looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to help us manage our Opportunities Board. This freelance role will run from July 2025 until October 2025, and will require 25 hours of work per week.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is able to work 5 hours each weekday, but we have some scope for flexibility on exact working hours. The candidate must be UK-based but we are open to remote work if you are not based in London.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Head of Content to ensure the smooth running of both our Opportunities Board.

Tasks, Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Using our content management system (CMS), to manage the publishing of posts on our Opportunities Board page, ensuring all postings meet our guidelines and editing where necessary
  • Managing our ‘Listings’ inbox to oversee email communications and ensure all enquiries are responded to
  • Overseeing the promotion of Opportunities Board posts – creating and scheduling social posts, created using dedicated templates
  • Assisting the editorial team by supplying suggested opportunities to be featured in the newsletter and in editorial
  • Liaising with the Project and Account Manager to ensure any Company Partner and featured opportunities are promoted correctly
  • Carrying out weekly research for new opportunities to be featured; reaching out to new contacts regarding potential postings
  • Maintaining communications with those who posting opportunities, following up to understand impact
  • Assisting with the management of our Company Listings page

For your awareness, below is a list of the programmes/ tools we use. Experience with these is a bonus, but not a requirement:

  • Canva for creating social content
  • Sanity CMS (content management system)
  • Gmail
  • Buffer for scheduling social media posts

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be highly organised and able to work across multiple tasks
  • Be a brilliant communicator, both written and verbal
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Be able to write accurately (no need to be a skilled writer, but you’ll need to be able to edit text and spot errors)
  • Have some awareness of the creative industry and creative world
  • Be a self-starter with an ability to work proactively and independently

Key Details

  • Application deadline: 9AM on Monday 7th July
  • Salary: £15 per hour, 25 hours per week (£375 per week)
  • Level: Junior
  • Contract: Freelance
  • Ideal Start Date: 17th July, 2025
  • Reports to: Head of Content
  • Hours: 25 hours per week; ideally Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day (flexible, but between core hours of 8am and 7pm)
  • Location: Remote; or 3 days remote with 2 days a week in-studio – 37-39 Kingsway, WC2B 6TP
