  • Experience of working with legal agreements in a legal setting.
  • Tech savvy and comfortable using various software programmes and digital tools.

  • Develop and refine the knowledge base of contracts and clauses by conducting legal research.
  • Participate in quality assurance for the Corporate product and provide feedback.
  • Provide legal insights to the Research and Development team to enhance AI capabilities.

Job description

This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute towards the advancement of the AI that underpins Luminance’s Corporate product.

As a Junior Legal Analyst, you are responsible for assessing and providing data for Luminance’s cut-edge Legal AI engine and providing an in-house feedback loop for the Luminance Corporate product. You will be involved in a range of projects with responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Developing and refining the quality of our pre-built knowledge base of contracts and clauses by conducting regular legal research and performing contractual analysis to develop Luminance's AI understanding.
  • Participating in the quality assurance process for each release of the Corporate product which involves testing any new upgrades, assessing the performance of the AI and its accuracy and providing valuable feedback to the development teams for future improvements.
  • Providing key legal insights to the wider Research and Development team to further refine and extend the capabilities of the AI and its detection of legal concepts.

Self-driven, forward-thinking individual with an interest in pursuing a career in Legal Tech

Graduated with LLB Law (2:1) or GDL (commendation)

Experience of working with legal agreements in a legal setting

Legal research and legal data analysis skills

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Strong experience in problem solving, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to work in an innovative and fast-paced environment whilst delivering to deadlines
