Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is recruiting for a Junior Land Manager in Surrey on a permanent basis. The role supports day-to-day administration and management of land and property assets for clients, combining on-site duties with desk-based work.

You'll work with senior colleagues to manage landholdings, tenancies and related client matters, gaining broad exposure early in your career while developing your technical knowledge towards professional qualifications in land management.

Qualifications

• Degree in land management, rural property management, estate management, surveying or related discipline.
• Some relevant experience in land, estates or property management (graduate role/placement acceptable).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to deal with clients and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of a portfolio of land and property assets, including site visits and inspections.
• Assist with landlord and tenant matters such as lease renewals, rent reviews, licences and wayleaves.
• Help prepare and maintain records, schedules, maps and management reports.
• Liaise with clients, tenants, contractors and local agents as first point of contact on routine queries.
• Assist with boundary, access and compliance issues; escalate complex matters to seniors.
• Support applications for land-related grants, schemes and consents.
• Contribute to preparation of valuations, inspections and written advice under supervision.
• Keep up to date with legislation, market conditions and best practice in land management.
