Job summary

Capitex is seeking Junior KYC Analysts to support a Know Your Assets managed service for a global asset manager. This entry-level role focuses on analytical assessment of underlying investments, open-source research, and due diligence across assets and counterparties.

Training is provided, with a strong emphasis on process discipline and documentation. You will work within established control frameworks, perform screening for sanctions and adverse media, and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability to synthesize data from multiple sources.
• Proficient in open source research and validating findings.
• Methodical approach to recording information and following processes.
• Willingness to ask questions and escalate when needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, esp. Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Carry out due diligence on counterparties and holdings for new deals and reviews.
• Conduct open source research to find and validate information.
• Screen against sanctions, PEP and adverse media sources; document disposition.
• Risk-rate counterparties and articulate reasoning.
• Escalate red flags and issues promptly to senior analysts or team lead.
• Maintain accurate audit trails and trackers; follow naming conventions.
• Work within control frameworks, SLAs, and cross-team queries.
